The Origin of Christmas

　　Christmas Day-December 25-which celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ， the founder of the Christian religion， is the biggest and best-loved holiday in the United States.

　　According to the Bible， the holy book of Christians， God decided to allow his only son， Jesus Christ， to be born to a human mother and live on earth so that people could understand God better and learn to love God and each other more. "Christmas"- meaning "celebration of Christ "- honors the time when Jesus was born to a young Jewish woman Mary.

　　Mary was engaged to be married to Joseph， a carpenter， but before they came together， she was found to be with child. Because Joseph， her husband， was a righteous man and did not want to expose her to public disgrace， he had in mind to divorce her quietly. But after he had considered this， an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said， "Do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife， because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son， and you are to give him the name Jesus， because he will save his people from their sins."

　　Although the exact date of the birth of Jesus nearly 2，000 years ago is not known， the calendar on the supposed date divides all time into B.C. (Before Christ )and A.D. ( a Latin phrase， Anno Domini， "in the year of our Lord.")For the first 300 years， Jesus’ birthday was celebrated on different dates. Finally， in the year 354， church leaders chose December 25 as his birthday.

Thanksgiving Day is the most truly American of the national Holidays in the United States and is most closely connected with the earliest history of the country.

　　In 1620, the settlers, or Pilgrims, they sailed to America on the May flower, seeking a place where they could have freedom of worship. After a tempestuous two-month voyage they landed at in icy November, what is now Plymouth, Massachusetts.

　　During their first winter, over half of the settlers died of starvation or epidemics. Those who survived began sowing in the first spring.

　　All summer long they waited for the harvests with great anxiety, knowing that their lives and the future existence of the colony depended on the coming harvest. Finally the fields produced a yield rich beyond expectations. And therefore it was decided that a day of thanksgiving to the Lord be fixed. Years later, President of the United States proclaimed the fourth Thursday of November as Thanksgiving Day every year. The celebration of Thanksgiving Day has been observed on that date until today.

　　The pattern of the Thanksgiving celebration has never changed through the years. The big family dinner is planned months ahead. On the dinner table, people will find apples, oranges, chestnuts, walnuts and grapes. There will be plum pudding, mince pie, other varieties of food and cranberry juice and squash. The best and most attractive among them are roast turkey and pumpkin pie. They have been the most traditional and favorite food on Thanksgiving Day throughout the years.

　　Everyone agrees the dinner must be built around roast turkey stuffed with a bread dressing to absorb the tasty juices as it roasts. But as cooking varies with families and with the regions where one lives, it is not easy to get a consensus on the precise kind of stuffing for the royal bird.

　　Thanksgiving today is, in every sense, a national annual holiday on which Americans of all faiths and backgrounds join in to express their thanks for the year' s bounty and reverently ask for continued blessings.

On the HK lighting fair,  the DLC Premium UL LED linear highbay 2FT 4FT, DLC premium ETL LED Troffer 2X2 2X4, DLC UL LED panel 2x2 2x4, and some new products, such as butterfly light, Smart led lamp (APP control, Wifi control, Zigbee control, Motion, EM backup, Music ceiling) were exhibited, and they had attracted many customers from all over the world., especially the customers from North American market.

The HongKong lighting fair is coming next month (27th-30th Oct. 2018), We will attend the HK lighting fair, and here is our booth #: 5E-E21. Welcome to our booth then.

On this HK lighting fair,  our featured products (DLC panel, DLC Troffer, DLC led linear highbay) will be showed to the customers.

Team Building Training

In order to strengthen our team cohesion, our company organized for 2 days (8th-9th) team training.

Keeping the hands in front of you at the height of your shoulder in 10 minutes and Keeping the knees bent in 10 minutes, though the two actions are very simple, It's hard to hold for 10 minutes. Someone trembled and tore whoop, but still hold out until the last, we made it finally.

Climb to the 8m height, stand on the small round disk, then jump out to seize the horizontal bar. As it is very high, many of us afraid to climb and stand on it, we have to do is to challenge their fear, across a small step. In our life, we will encounter a lot of the opportunity of just around the corner, as long as we challenge ourselves, brave to cross out the step, then we will firmly seize the opportunity of our own.

Leapfrog and crawl, arm scratches, but still insist on.

Finally it is the 4.2m height victory wall, no others tool can be used, all of us need to climb over the walls. after 5 times failure, finally we made it in the sixth challenge. 

Team building training, deepen the understanding between each other, closer to the relationship between us, we love our team.  After this training, we find our answers:

          A. One perfect team must come with a excellent leader, a clear goal and the plan for achieving the goal.

          B. Clear division of responsibilities, cooperate with each other.

          C. More communication, communication is very important for one team. 

          D. Trust each other.
